The new mayor...

Notwithstanding my strong belief that the position of "mayor of London" should be completely abolished, and that all constitutional reforms passed under the Blair government should be immediately reversed, I am relieved that Sadiq Khan won the mayoral election and triumphed over the disgraceful smear campaign of his "conservative" opponent, the Jew Zac Goldsmith. As a polite nod to the Church by Law Established he has even chosen his "inauguration" to take place in Southwark Cathedral. Religion, and indeed a conservative religious voice, is still going to be safeguarded in London. And, to quote a rather sensible man whom I only know vaguely through a friend of mine, "London is a little safer now than it was yester-day." God alone knows what would have been the case under the other mayor-elect, had he won. I have no doubt he'd have filled the assembly with rich Zionist cronies and our battle with radicalized young Muslims would have been much bloodier and more grievous.

So, congratulations Mr Khan. You didn't get my vote (I didn't vote) but you have my every sympathy.

  1. Is this a joke, or has George Galloway or Ken Livingstone taken over the blog? Goldsmith has one Jewish grandfather and does not even identify as Jewish. Yet your hatred for Jewish blood leads you to support a Muslim 'human rights' lawyer who (unlike Goldsmith) strongly opposes Britain's liberation from Brussels. Perhaps you belong in Sadiqistan after all. Have at it. Don't worry---the filthy Jews will be gone soon, inshallah.

    2. I don't like Goldsmith either. But the Guardian broke out the champagne this morning and no doubt will celebrate this day as one of their Diversity feasts in the years to come. They consistently portrayed any criticism of Khan's dealings and associations as vicious racism and 'islamophobia', and they are mighty emboldened to see London become the first Western capital with an Islamic administration.

But you're right, best to close down the whole mayoralty, which in multicultural London is guaranteed to produce Livingstones and Khans. It's a vulgar form of democracy.

  2. I think His Grace rather sums it up rather well. It was rather a case of 'Hobson's Choice' so I did not bother to vote. Had I been bothered Goldsmith certainly would not have got my mark. I think it is to Khan's credit that, whatever his religion, he got where he is today on his own merits and not his father's money. I am no CST festishist - unlike some - but clearly there are major problems for generations of Londoners where the vast majority cannot afford to buy a property and rents are crippling. At least Khan recognises this.

    1. Rubricarius, I think everyone recognises that rents and property values are outrageous in London, well, all of England actually, but recognising the problem and being able to really do anything about it are not the same.

    2. Dale, Of course, being the owner of a property in London part of me, of course, enjoys the outrageous value and the impact that has on my retirement plans. However, I do think Sadiq Khan has far more understanding of those who do not own property, and struggle to find the outrageous rent prices, than Goldsmith.
