That only encourages such beasts as her. The thing to do is to call her out as a troll, not to address her or respond to her at all, and to warn others not to 'feed the troll'.

That is what I did in the opuspublicus comment line, and that shut her down right quickly. I recommend that you do the same.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192580971664762668.post-11865028508826183362015-03-16T15:46:32.772+00:002015-03-16T15:46:32.772+00:00Truly pious women are the heroes of the Church. She is the sort who has had a cursory glance at a few heavily biased history books and then thinks of herself as an expert and shoots off at the mouth.

As for banning her, I don't recollect her ever commenting here.Patrick Sheridanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995907911415177074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192580971664762668.post-47626355047245419732015-03-16T14:57:34.186+00:002015-03-16T14:57:34.186+00:00Diane is a serial combox pest. Whenever there is an Orthodox or Catholic blogger who discusses Orthodox/Catholic issues, there she will be, always saying the same things, over and over again, with the same sanctimonious tone and expressions. She reminds me of the kid at school who always put their hand up to answer every single question. Eventually people laugh, then they roll their eyes, then they sigh, then they groan, then they snap. I notice that the discussion eventually became about her, not the blog post. Blog owners would do well to simply ban her. I hope you have Patrick.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13016284060186124679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192580971664762668.post-66923326779810670152015-03-16T14:02:35.116+00:002015-03-16T14:02:35.116+00:00Yesterday I was at the Benedictine abbey of Norcia...Yesterday I was at the Benedictine abbey of Norcia, and I saw in astonishment as a woman knelt there the entire day (with only a couple of brief breaks) with her missal and breviary next to her, hearing all of the Divine Office, from Matins at 3:45am until Compline at 7:45pm. All this time she didn't say a word. Of course she was dressed like Our Lady (floor-length dress and head covered), but clearly a laywoman. She was s beautiful sight and no doubt a prayer powerhouse. Would that we have more ladies like this!Childermasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08776870533065668580noreply@blogger.com
