This used to happen at Corpus Chisti, and does at St Mary Moorfields, where the vigil is at 4pm. Who knows with these people? In many ways, consistency is the problem; especially when it comes to Holy Week. If one priest decides to do "old" Holy Week, he won't go the whole way. He'll do it at the '62 times for "pastoral" reasons. If another decides to do 1962, he might decide to add bits of the "old" in. He might wear a violet cope on Palm Sunday but use the Pacelli blessing.

What unites them, though, is a universal contempt for the Hours. They'd all sooner die than spend twenty minutes monotoning the little hours! And they have the audacity to call this "full?" It's all very shoddy if you ask me.Patrick Sheridanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995907911415177074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192580971664762668.post-66881477777985553072015-03-18T18:16:54.553+00:002015-03-18T18:16:54.553+00:00Time for the office of 'Inquisitor of Liturgic...Time for the office of 'Inquisitor of Liturgical Pravity'?David Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650485101256752528noreply@blogger.com
