After I declined their "very generous offer" they began to send their people, posing as potential communicants, to my Sunday masses. They would talk with various parishioners after mass and sing the glories of $$PX while sowing the seeds of discontent. Fortunately for me I was already on the road to Constantinople. After I resigned they quickly sent one of their minion to town in order to pick up the pieces. The little priest, who spoke with an effeminate affectation and literally dripped with lace, was quiet unprepared for wrangling these very disgruntled traditionalists. However, he was replaced with a more competent man and the parish still exists, they even retained the original name. Constantinople has its own peculiar problems but I've never regretted my decision. I can say nothing good about $$PX and its leadership, nor can I say anything good about the Roman Church. Good riddance as far as I'm concerned and may the Devil take them.Prior Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15676817526437140998noreply@blogger.com
