Just for the record...

I am not now, nor will I ever be, a communicating member of the Church of England. That church, the only legitimate claimant of catholicity in the land, being by law established, has deliberately abandoned the Catholic faith - by laying hands on women. Not that the Roman communion has any right to have churches or diocese' in England (or even members), but that is another matter.

  1. You will continue to be prayed for. Just consider the definition of catholic

    From Wiktionary
    1. - Universal; all-encompassing.
    2. - Pertaining to all kinds of people and their range of tastes, proclivities etc.

...and then consider why you wish to exclude 50% of the human race, from the laying on of hands.

  2. Patricius, perhaps you could share your plans for the not-long-distant day when you have excommunicated every other Christian on the planet and are the only person left in communion with yourself.

  3. Patrici,
why should the Universal Church not be present in England? The ''Church of England'' ceased to be Catholic, not when it began to ordain women, but when it ceased celebrating the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, as well as several of the Sacraments, and forbade the veneration and calling upon of Our Lady and the Saints.

  5. I think you'd be happier in a western rite Orthodox Mission of ROCOR (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia) (I say this to everyone!), which allows the 1534 version of the Sarum use to be celebrated in them, (though without post 1054 saints). Several of these missions are under the process of forming in England. I do generally agree with you, the Ordinariate is another form of compromise and has not fully preserved tradition as it ought to. Orthodoxy is in many ways the worlds last great hope. It's worked for me. Best wishes.
