I recently found this on YouTube. I have watched it twice and it seems fair and even to me, with recourse to direct sources and little hint of prejudice. The video was made by American protestants, polar opposites of John Hagee, Ted Pike and his late wife. The video is worth watching for its succinctness and erudition, and it posits many theories about the Jews, their origins and mission, that I hold myself. For my valued Russian readers, now by far outnumbering my British and American audience, the most interesting stuff is about twenty-five minutes in; Karl Marx, and so on.

This was one of the first films I watched, and it is indeed well-done. Much needed in a world still mostly pandering to Israel: how they're the Chosen Ones and how they can burn, bomb, and pillage Christian churches, both Orthodox and Catholic and not be worried with so much as a fine.
ReplyDeletewell, this is certainly not 'balanced and nuanced'! As an Orthodox Christian convert of some 30 years I can resonate with the first part of the presentation, but I find latter half a bit much. I wish the author of this piece would give references rather than the Jewish Encyclopedia and the Talmud for his later rant, not that I admire the current Israel and its demonization of the real Semitic people of Palestine. I know people from Beit Jalla and also Jerusalem who were kicked out of their towns and businesses by Israelis. Israelis are nasty people when they have guns and nuclear weapons.
