Apropos of the religious image which you posted for this entry, I thought you would like to know that that work, by Salvadore Dali, "Christ of St. John of the Cross", is a favorite of my wife. If I turn left and look upward from where I am typing, I can see our copy of that painting.
I first saw it when I was 11 years old. It used to hang in my maths class over the blackboard. It comes from that remote time when art was still sacred, when it was not a game any number could play. I wonder what Damien Hirst thinks of it?
