Venite, venite...

This is exquisite. Emma Kirkby and Evelyn Tubb sing Monteverdi's motet Venite, sitientes, ad aquas Domini. Simply marvellous.

O come, O come, ye that thirst, to the waters of the LORD; make haste ye for to gain this milk and honey beyond price. O come, drink ye this wine which hath imparted unto you unfathomable wisdom. Eat and drink ye, friends, of this godly milk and honey. For richer is God's love than wine to console the world.

I used God's "love" as a euphemism for ubera, which means something completely different of course. Is it out of season, do you think?
